For today

Lisa se klavier - The Parlotones
Live design - The Parlotones
Long way home - The Parlotones
Love is all around - but it has to be the 60s version.
Something in the air - definitely a 60s song,  this song about the same age as my parents but I love it.
Completely forgot about the song of the day :)
Well today is another day :)

How does a playlist sound?
Definitely :)

I got you babe

This song when I listen to it for the first time,  it sounds like a first love song.

When researching it was hard to find the real reason behind the song.
I know there are many covers of this beautiful song.

But when one closes their eyes and listens to it, It resembles first love,  I know that this first love really seems mutual,  often I've wished well lately that I could reenact this song.
It is only too beautiful. Even playing it on repeat it has been a beautiful experience.
This couple seems very happy.
They know they can always rely on eachother and they will make it through life one day at a time.
They reassured that everything is alright and they will always stick together.
Don't we long for such a love,
Holding hands walking in a forest knowing that this person is the one,  knowing everything will be alright and that life is finally complete.

That is my emotions and feelings about the song :)

Song of the day

Been waiting for the song of the day,
Well I have it...
UB40: I got you babe :)

David Bowie - Heroes

This song written by Bowie, one thinks there are many reasons behind it.  Maybe he was a hopeless romantic like me.
His song's setting takes place in Berlin Germany.  How do we know this??  Well he refers to the wall.
During the war
I don't know about you but we assume it's during the war where West and East Germany was still around.
Communism vs capitalism.

According to research David Bowie's song was written because of the following events during his stay in Berlin.

David Bowie was Inspired by the sight of Bowie's manager Tony Visconti embracing his girlfriend by the Berlin Wall, the song tells the story of two lovers, one from East and one from West Berlin

This is seen as a hopeful romantic,
But did you know that this song played a role in the tearing down of the Berlin Wall.

The title itself was inspired by many other German bands who were aiming at freedom from the Berlin Wall.

But listening to the song Bowie sounds like his is yelling,  this is to emphasise doomed love as his manager was married yet seeing this lady?

How can a beautiful image be so harsh.
I believe the song is a sign of hope and as a firm Bowie fan.
This song gives me hope for the future.

No matter the chaos love conquers all.
This is my infinite song,  My everything song
Always will have a special meaning to my life

New angle

I've decided to take on a new challenge,
To everyone who reads this blog,  even if it is only one or two people let's be hopeful.
Let me know or send in songs via the comments box, will try my best to research the song or artist
Xxx
Living with this lump on my heart.
Craving the good life.
Hardwork will soon pay off :)
Hello,  is there anybody in there
Just nod if you can hear me...

Today

Today has been much better,
Paul Simon and Paul McCartney really did it for me today.
You can call me Al and band on the Run.
I have been into the older music a lot lately.
Seems to make my day,  makes me happy on the inside.  A lot...

Today's deal

Well on a good note things seem to be getting lighter,
Even though there is very little emotional.
Things are making sense sort of,
I wish I had answers
I wish I had more faith in myself.
It's not fair to put yourself down all the time.  Give yourself a break.
We are all human :)

Life's challenges

When life becomes tough we hide.  When life is mean we run away.
Where would we escape to,
I know of two places I would escape to.
The coast or the gym.
What will happen when my academic life comes to an end and moments will become old photographs.
Would you live in regret?

I know for a fact that I would only regret one thing and that was not facing my little insecurities sooner.
Currently facing my biggest fears but not giving up.
I am working on accepting myself for who I am.  If anyone knows my past they would know that I have always lacked a self confidence and self esteem.
I am seen as being way to hard on myself as a person.
We are all human.

We all make mistakes.  bridge over troubled waters,  over the rainbow,  are only songs to explain the fact that there is hope in this world.
There is hope that I will find what I deserve and life destined to be better than it was.
My heart is heavy and cold.

It doesn't feel love,  it just can't,  it is in process of being set free.
When that day happens...

The chains will burst and the excited butterflies will be released.
There will be joy and peace

Most importantly being content with life as it is.  Not running away or changing to be accepted by society.

David Bowie - Heroes
You got me through my hard times
Paul Simon - You can call me Al

I know how much my dad loves me playing this song especially with his past experiences and drumming history.

David Bowie - Heroes

My infinite song.  This song is key and would definitely be the key to win me over as a free spirited independent lady.  Like putty in your hand.  Any best friends key to my good books.
This song has a lot of meaning.  I've always wanted to drive with this song through a tunnel like in the movie perks of being a wallflower.

Why not

Paul McCartney - band on the Run ( a travel song,  give it a try.  This song would be beautiful for a long drive you know).
You all know my love for soundtracks.  This song from lion king,  It is one of the most moving songs I come across.
Lion king 2 - he lives in you
The Beatles - hey Jude,  ( the best chilled song to sing along to all the time actually).

Play list for the exciting :)

The parlotones - sleepwalker
Pink Floyd - comfortably numb
Paul McCartney - band on the Run

My playlist for today will include the legend David Bowie.  His legend song Heroes.
This is my infinite song most definitely :)
Well I haven't posted for ages,
A lot has been going on and stuff that needed to be sorted.  Still in process with the road to recovery.
One step at a time
