So I decided to look for some go to songs that will always make my day.

What is your go to song ?

My go to song is my favourite song... my life song
It has so much meaning behind.
My life has had more meaning with that song because of the context.
I first heard it in Perks of Being a wallflower...
It's a sign of hope for all those who were seen as the loner or loser or bullied through your whole schooling career.

David Bowie Heroes ♥

My take on the new ABBA songs...

I've listened to them multiple times. I must be honest.... I truly enjoyed them. I know some people didn't but I did and it was so worth the listen.
ABBA will always be legendary just give them a chance.
Go take a listen if you haven't already:
1. Don't Shut Me Down
2. I Still Have Faith In You

Dignity - Deacon Blue

There's a man I meet, walks up our street
He's a worker for the council
Has been twenty years
And he takes no lip off nobody
And litter off the gutter
Puts it in a bag
And never thinks to mutter
And he packs his lunch in a Sunblest bag
The children call him Bogie
He never lets on
But I know 'cause he once told me
He let me know a secret about the money in his kitty
He's gonna buy a dinghy
Gonna call her Dignity

And I'll sail her up the west coast
Through villages and towns
I'll be on my holidays
They'll be doing their rounds
They'll ask me how I got her I'll say, "I saved my money"
They'll say, "Isn't she pretty? That ship called Dignity"

And I'm telling this story
In a faraway sea
Sipping down raki
And reading Maynard Keynes
And I'm thinking about home and all that that means
And a place in the winter for dignity

And I'll sail her up the west coast
Through villages and towns
I'll be on my holidays
They'll be doing the rounds
They'll ask me how I got her I'll say, "I saved my money"
They'll say, "Isn't she pretty? That ship called Dignity"

Stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up
Yeah, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again
Stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up, stand it up
Yeah, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again, stand it up again

And I'm thinking about home
And I'm thinking about faith
And I'm thinking about work
And I'm thinking how good it would be
To be here some day

On a ship called Dignity
A ship called Dignity
That ship

Today's post

Nothing original today, just the same old same old with a few changes to life. A mother of a million parrots. Big and small! Rescued a birdie. Came up with new ideas and found new music that's technically not new. But inspired. Music always has an attachment or story behind it.
Normally I share playlists so I'll do that shortly and I'll share my sentimental reasons behind them as well.

Welcome back after 5 years!!!!

A lot has happened in five years,  fell in love and got hurt, Hurt someone else, had many regrets and fell in love with my future husband. Seems like a normal life though.... Right?
I attended weddings and even was a Bridesmaid for one of them. Lost weight and gained it all to loss it all again, gained some and back to losing again.
Got 2 degrees and engaged to my future hubby to get married in December if Covid allows it...
Lost my Granny who is hands down my favourite person 💔.  Almost a year ago she went on her journey as a angel
But the music never stopped and the music taste stayed the same.
